Coastal Home Bathroom and Bedroom Remodel in Bradenton, FL

An older coastal home in Bradenton deserved a renovation that respected its character while making everyday living more comfortable. Southtide Construction reworked the bathroom and bedroom with a relocated shower, dual shower heads, warm brass finishes and custom carpentry. The result feels considered and fresh without losing the personality of the original home.

Our bathroom and bedroom remodel in Bradenton, FL was all about marrying modern functionality with the timeless charm of a coastal home. In this design-build project, we worked to enhance both spaces while preserving their original coastal character. One of the key highlights of the remodel was the relocation of the shower, which allowed us to install dual shower heads, offering a luxurious experience for the homeowners. The brass sliding barn door added a touch of elegance, serving as both a functional and striking feature of the design.

Additionally, we reimagined the space where an outdated bathtub once stood, transforming it into a new home office and storage area, effectively adding usable square footage and streamlining the home’s layout. Throughout the remodel, custom carpentry—like the clean lines of white shiplap and detailed trim work—was incorporated to tie everything together, creating a cohesive, refined atmosphere that complements the home’s coastal setting.
